Write a poem about your holidays.

1. What colour might represent the holidays? Holidays are red
2. What does it taste like? a yummy delicious strawberry with nice chocolate dip
3. smell like? A big round apple when the juice comes out
4. Look like ? A big place like kfc
5. Sound like? Water and big tears from the storm or rain
6. Feel like?  smooth mat

                                   HOLIDAYS

Holidays are red because every time I go to bed , I always have dream about people in the soldier dead.

  Tastes like a yummy strawberry with chocolate dip and making me feel like wanna go on a trip.

smells like a big round apple with nice tip top ice-cream and make it pop .

It looks like 
KFC and with a nice biggest delicious meal like big mac burger.

It sounds like blood dripping from our nose and like water dropping from the hose.

Feels like a mats with a nice flat cloth or just like touching a broom that's so new.

Inquiry roadshow

Today Glenbrae School had our inquiry roadshow.This is when all the classes share what they have learned during the term.We share our learning by creating presentations posters ,

diagram and hands on activity.

I enjoy room 8 one because they used water , lemon juice and also baking soda and sugar.They put the water in to the lemon juice and put the baking soda in then the hole mix up went up.

I learnt about fill in the gabs race for room 10 and it was so fantastic because It was my favourite game and plus it was maths as well and it my favourite subject as well.

The best presentation that I sawed was room 8 because it was so cool that they had music on and everybody was dancing and running around , we were so happy that we saw lots of presentation.

Here is my presentation that's called anzac cove , we have lots of paragraphs in our story plus we have so munch things that we needed to say and to explained.

Science Week

At glenbrae school we did a science week at the seniors block , we first stayed in our classroom and did chemical changes and we made different flavor of bread then we went to each other classes as well.When we were Mrs Parker we learn about vinegar and baking soda .For our writing we are gonna use what , when , where , who and then why.

On monday we did 3 states of matter with Mrs Raj and we were learning about ice water and steam so ice is solid , water is liquid plus steam is gas and that's what we did on monday.Mrs Raj told us to put picture as well so it can look beautiful and so other that has netbooks can see what we are talking about and so they can understand our writing when they read my story .

The next day we went to Mrs Tofa class and learn about the science week as well , first we were on the mat and talk about all those kind of bread and plus all of room 7 only kids went to Mrs Tofa classes and do those kind of stuff.In room 10 we cooked bread but salesi was rolling the bread and making it bigger and when it was in the oven it was so big that it made me ful.

On wednesday we went to Mr Nuff class and we did a experiment and plus he did fake magic by disappear plus Mister Nuff grabbed  sugar and salt and they , miss Card had sugar and Mr Nuff had salt. Mr nuff grab a candles and light the candles up and grab two spoon and put salt , sugar on those two spoon and Mr Nuff one took so long that we waited for a while then it boiled and it was finish.Mr Nuff ate the salt and then he gave it to all of room 7 to taste.Mrs Card one smelt nice like toffe and plus we ate it as well.

Science week was so fun because it was so yum and I felt so happy that I wanted to do all that again. Plus I want to learn more about food science.

Balloon Game Recount

Balloon Game Recount

Guess what we did in room 7 fitness. We played a game that’s called keep the balloon in the air and we were so excited that we all had to move around so  that the balloon could not go on the ground . The boys played first , while the girls were running around the courts .We had three rounds of that balloon game . When we were finished then it was the girls turn, while we did the same thing as them and it was running around the courts. We were having fun playing a cool balloon game , we were so excited and it was so amazing.

When the girls were playing the balloon game , the boys ran fast arounds the courts but I had to go to Miss Parker so I could do more about the recount rubric and tell the class what we have been doing in Mrs Raj office but Miss Parker was in Mrs Raj office teaching us what to do for our recount rubric. The girls were playing and I think that the girls popped the balloon because I heard from all of the boys, it was all over so that meant it was GAME OVER!!!.

When the game was finished then  we went back to class and that was our fitness , we all were so amazing that we had a really amazing fun time. We were in class eating our morning tea and we were telling each other that the balloon game was the coolest game we ever played in our whole lives.  We were playing well in that game and no one got angry with anyone.The coolest were the boys because we did not pop the balloon. It was a lot of fun! I loved the game.

This is about Pelenise in his four day weekend.

In 4 day weekends i went to the movies and  watch Fast and Furious 7 with all my family and then we went to the park with the little kid cousins and we really played a nice game thats called tiggie.When we got there we were having so much fun because we had a big feed like chicken and chips. It was so cool because all of my cousins came to visit us.Then they came with us to the shop to buy our shopping from countdown .When we were about to finish our shopping it was to heavy to bring in to our car so we can go home and sort all of our stuff so we can go out with my after when i help my mum  then i can go to my friends house so i can play on his trampoline .In this story it happened on saturday.

On sunday we went to a church to learn about god and jesus and what they do in cloud. The we have to pray to the god in heaven .We were finished then we got to the car and went to the big big huge mountain and eat kfc plus we saw all of the New Zealand houses and all of the sky tower with a sharp pointy part at the top and also we saw  airplanes in the big hot air balloon and a kite that goes in the sky plus it was a ben 10 one .That was on sunday when all ofthis happened to my four day weekend. is was so so brilliant and surprised plus really scared because we were really really tall from that big mountain.

On monday we went to panmure pool and we went down that big huge slide and then we were inside the kids spar and it was really hot for kids we were so so happy that we were so scared because it was dark inside panmure slide  thats why we were scared.

On tuesday we did nothing because the power turned off plus we just stayed home and did nothing.

 we have been doing our scavenger outside and on the school morning tea chairs and we have been working hard to do this after our morning tea we do it when it is after maths , plus we did this one week and it was so very hard to do this.
